"I had an amazing time at the Chilling West Chester Walking Tour. It was a great way to learn about the history of the area and to hear some spooky tales. I wanted to do something different this Halloween and they did not let me down!"
"The Chester County History Center is one of the most incredible Historical Museums and research centers I've ever been to. The scholars and exhibits featured here explore all aspects of American History. The staff is exceptional knowledgable, friendly and invite you into the history. The stunning Museum features installations which capture the imagination and rooted in deep scholarship. Pennsylvania indeed is the Keystone State and the History reflected here is powerfully told here. Specifically Southeastern Pennsylvania holds a unique footprint in the development of our Country: Women's Leadership, the UGRR, Revolutionary War History, Agricultural History, Government, Civil Rights, Religious Freedom. It is a hidden gem."
"Time spent well!! 80mins UNDERGROUND RAILROAD WALKING TOUR The Underground Railroad was a network of people, black as well as white, offering shelter and aid to enslaved people escaping from the South. This family-friendly walking tour will visit eight locations around downtown West Chester that played a part in these struggles toward freedom and equality. Tour covers approximately 1.25 miles and lasts 75 minutes. Tour is entirely outdoors; sidewalks and terrain may be uneven."
