"the first google review i’ve ever left because i usually just don’t care to but my experience this morning was awful. first of all, let me just say i work for an urgent care and we constantly have our patients complain about this pharmacy and i honestly haven’t been to this location in years even tho its closest to my house due to how horrible the service always is. i drive 10 minutes out of my way to go to the calumet location. so i have my NP send a med this morning (watched her do so) pull up to the pharmacy, they don’t have the script. no biggie, i understand electronic glitches happen. i have the NP send it again (once again, i work here so i know she’s sending it. i watched her do so the first time) i wait 20 minutes in the parking lot to give them time to receive/ fill it, pull back up. the tech still says they haven’t sent anything and the NP will have to call the script in. i tell her i work with the NP and i physically watched her send it and i knew she sent it again. okay, it’s fine. i feel like garbage i just want my meds and to go home. so i drive BACK to the urgent care to just get a paper script so its easier. i come back to walgreens and this time step inside where i am greeted by a girl named Sierra. right off the bat, she seems annoyed she has to type in a paper script (which i work in healthcare and understand it sucks doing the harder thing but i had already sent it twice electronically) after about five minutes she walks away and grabs someone else but doesn’t give me any further instruction so i just stand there and she goes “you can sit down it’ll be up shortly” like she doesn’t know why im still there. okay perfect, i really don’t feel good at this point, its been over an hour since my meds weren’t sent the first time, im a little frustrated but i figured maybe she’s new. About 25 minutes go by and i just stand up in line to see how much longer it will be (if i should just go back to my house) and she yells OVER the line of customers and the customer she’s with “your scripts aren’t ready” YEAH. clearly i know that. so i say “do you know how much longer” she goes “there’s only one person, she can only work so fast” i tell her i understand but i feel awful, the scripts have now been sent for two hours, and i just want to take my meds and to go home. if she would’ve told me it would’ve been 45 minutes instead of telling me to take a seat, i would’ve gone home and been fine! her response to me saying that was “I get that, but she can only work so fast.” once again, in front of a line of customers with an attitude. the girl next to her tells me it shouldn’t be too much longer, so i sit back down this time super frustrated. the lady next to me even apologized on her behalf. and then another 20 minutes went by before my script was done. Listen, i understand the world is short staffed right now, but this is the WORST customer service i’ve ever had especially coming from someone dealing with sick people. will never be back to this location again."
"Great Experience working with Patrice in the pharmacy department today: 10/11/23. She administered our Flu and Covid injections beautifully. Patrice is a great asset to your company. She deserves a raise!!! Roselyn and Dorothy."
"Disgusting excess for professional behavior at this pharmacy. 7 people in line, we have appoints for vaccines, we walk over to the dam window with a sign that says "vaccine check-in" Patricia pharmacy tech screams out in front of everyone "get in line there's only one" embarrassing, unprofessional, I said we are following the posted instructions she argued saying we don't do that, she then tells us it's going to be awhile I said it better not be we are scheduled, she said that's not how it works... none of this family will be back to this sht show pharmacy."
