Reviews of Beeswax Creek Park
"I live about 30 minutes away but sometimes it’s nice to get a mini vacation at the lake and this is the perfect place. There are two fishing piers and two playgrounds as well as a short nature trail. Planet of picnic tables too. Great place to spend an hour or two"
"Not exactly what we were expecting, but had fun anyway"
"I loved it, it was fun for the kids, you can fish and eat with the benches and tables. There is a pair and handicap perking."
"We went on a Sunday in early March specifically to hike the trail. The trail is a 3.5 mile loop, in which a good bit of it follows or has a view to Lay Lake. It’s a pretty easy trail and we hiked it with 3 young girls all under 11. It is well kept and has several benches along the way as well as a couple of gazebos. There was also a pier along the far end of the trail. All in all we enjoyed hiking it. The trail and park are maintained by Alabama Power."
"Beautiful in the evening as the sun's going down. Just loved going there. Clean and quiet, very memorable experience. Will definitely be going back there. Pet friendly so I was able to take my dog Sadi. Best part for me at least was it's easy to find a place to park and sit to just enjoy nature. Wether in a group or alone, it's wonderful."
