"After reading about the goat trees at the town museum, we had to see this marker. Such a cute little green space. Visiting in September we found that the mosquitos were thick, so make sure to bring bug spray!"
"Goat Tree is a neat little place. It's more enjoyable in the off season when the bugs aren't quite so bad. The trails are narrow and it's not a large place. It takes about 30 minutes to enjoy. I prefer Shell Mound or the much larger Bird Sanctuary, which is just down the road. It has that off the beaten path feel and some cool nature though."

"After reading about the Goat trees, we had to locate this park. The ground around the base of the trees are so overgrown that it is difficult to see them. Nice sign explains the history. Part of the trails are also overgrown.a few benches are on the path. Felt a bit creepy as I expected things to fall from the vines or crawl out of the dense brush."
