"I have done business with this florist quite a few times and never had an issue until this time. Sadly, they sold me flowers that only lasted around 4-5 days. These flowers were kept cool, watered, and fed. I buy Trader Joe’s flowers all the time to keep on my counter and they last 2 weeks. Sad that 20 dollar flowers lasted longer than this places 110 dollar flowers. I ordered flowers 4 days prior to picking them up and spoke to the owner and she said she would have them ready for me at 1030 Friday morning. I had very specific request for all orange flowers and she reviewed with me on Monday what all she had and we agreed on what would go in the flowers. Well Friday morning comes and I arrive at 10:45 to the shop and my flowers are not done. The owner said she forgot and thought I said later in the day to which I reminded her of our conversation and she then recalled the correct time. She said give me 15 minutes and I’ll have them done, so I waited in my car 20 mins. I went inside and they still weren’t done. The owner then began to tell me how her orange Lilies were not in the best shape and would die quickly. I said it will be ok for the lilies to not last as long as the roses and the rest of it will still look nice. I was already aggravated that she did not have my flowers ready and then was frustrated that she did not call me to tell me her lilies were in bad shape so I could go somewhere else. Well finally she got my flowers done and they looked good but not great but again I was already running behind because my stuff wasn’t ready. So fast forward to 5 days later and everything had died and looked awful despite being taken care of. I tried to reach out to the owner on Facebook and explain the issue and they read my message and never responded. So I followed up with “so y’all are not going to respond” again opened my message and no response. I have bought flowers here multiple times but they will not get another dime from me. 2/27/2024 in response to the owners reply: Yes, I did specifically ask for the lilies on Monday when in ordered the flowers. You had all week to make sure those lilies were good for the arrangement or call and tell me otherwise. So I could make other arrangements. I have read multiple reviews where you respond about ordering last minute and that is not the case here. You decided instead to wait til I was there and my order wasn’t even ready to tell me they were not in good shape. Beyond the lilies being bad the rest of the flowers all died within 5 days. Yes, you did reach out to me on messenger nearly 24 hours after I messaged you and you kept opening my messages and not responding. But once I posted this review it took about 30 minutes for you to respond, isn’t that interesting. My credit card company is taking care of the issue now. Just wanted to clear the air in the review to your response. But no worries I hope others read this and are aware of how yall do business."

"I placed an order with The Flower Shoppe of Providence for a Valentine's Day bouquet that was supposed to include a variety of yellow roses, lilies, and sunflowers. Unfortunately, when the arrangement arrived, it was missing both the lilies and the roses. I was extremely disappointed with this lack of attention to detail by the florist, especially considering the occasion and the fact that I had placed the order well in advance to ensure a timely delivery. To make matters worse, when I tried calling the business to inquire about the issue, they did not pick up the phone. After multiple failed attempts to reach the business by phone, I had no choice but to make a personal appearance at their location to try and resolve the issue. While they did eventually provide the missing flowers, it was a hassle and inconvenience that could have been avoided with better customer service. Overall, while The Flower Shoppe of Providence displays creativity in their arrangements, I have to give a 2/5 star rating due to their failure to fulfill my order as requested. If you're looking for specific flowers for a special occasion, it may be best to consider another florist who can deliver on their promises."

"Ordered a bouquet for my cousin who just had her first child. She was moved rooms before the flowers were delivered, so I called the shop and they made sure to note the change. They also called me to make sure if the baby was a boy or girl. Both times we talked, the lady was very nice and professional. I ordered a "florists choice" for $85. Bouquet is absolutely beautiful. They did a wonderful job, and we're very easy to work with! It's also nice knowing the bouquet was a unique pick, and not just some out of the box bouquet delivery. Will use this company again when the occasion arises!"

"Jessa did an amazing job with the flowers for our silver anniversary celebration. I brought photos of my bouquet and she created a beautiful centerpiece arrangement which included all the elements of the original. They took great care with an antique silver piece of mine used to display the arrangement. She also made beautiful corsage/boutonnieres. Through the entire process there was great communication and attention to detail. Things were ready on schedule and packaged beautifully and securely. The arrangements lasted for weeks--excellent quality. I will not hesitate to return for future floral needs. It was a pleasure to work with them. Please pardon the delay in posting this review, and thank you again for a wonderful experience!"

"This was our first time visiting and it was during Fresh Flower Friday where you can pick your own flowers to create a bouquet. The ladies working here were very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely love this cute little flower shop in the Village of Providence and can’t wait to visit again!"
