"I can't tell you exactly how the school is now, but as someone who went to St. Catherine of Alexandria for grade school, then on to Marist High School, then to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is now working on a PhD in engineering from a top 10 engineering school, I can tell you that St. Catherine of Alexandria adequately prepared me for everything I sought out to accomplish. In fact, I often found that my education, across all subjects, was higher than most of my peers when entering freshmen year of Marist High School. I don't recognize much of the current teaching staff, but I did have Ms. Woods (current teacher) for 7th and 8th grade math, and I can confidently say that she is an excellent math teacher - exactly the type grade school math teacher that a future engineer needs."
