"I found this produce/garden center today while exploring the City of Tuscumbia. The produce is homegrown locally and they carry local honey as well. In the Spring, beautiful bedding plants can be purchased here as well. Today, I got freshly-picked tomatoes, banana peppers, okra, scupernons, raw peanuts, freshly picked field peas. The owner is very nice and so endearing. There are fresh watermelons, cantaloupe, peaches, fresh field corn, cucumbers. It was a delightful find!"
"This is a wonderful place to get your fruits and veggies as well as honey and relishes. It is very clean and well kept up. The manager is very kind to help people to their cars with heavy produce. I highly recommend them."
"the BEST fruits & vegetables in ALABAMA! Fast, Fun, and Friendly. Family owned and operated, Malone's offeres the best quality selection of non-gmo fresh veggies and hand-picked fruits. My favorite is their local honey and wide variety of pre-bagged seeds. Southern hospitality at it's finest... Tim will even help you carry everything out to your car! A++"
"We came here Thursday to buy some seeds and/or plants for our first container garden! The prices were very good (6 plants for $4 or one for $2). Mr. Malone was nice and helped us pick out some healthy pepper and tomato plants. We will definitely come back next year if we garden again!"
"Went and bought a sugar baby watermelon at Malone’s in Tuscumbia and I asked before I bought it if it was not any good could I bring it back because I already had bought one about a month earlier and it was not any good. I was told yes, so I came home and cut it and it was not completely ripe. So I took it straight back and the owner comes in and never even looks at it and says it’s nothing wrong with that watermelon. I tried to tell him that it was not any good and his exact words was to me was watermelons are red and that’s all I guarantee that it’s red. And he went on to say if I had to refund everybody that come back and said something was not good I couldn’t stay in business. I told him with that way he would not be there long. I have shopped there for years, when his parents ran it. And his dad always stood behind what he sold. But that’s definitely not the case with the son. So just beware before you go."
