Reviews of Easter Posey Recreation Area
"This is an older campground located along the Tennessee River on Redstone Arsenal, AL. The campground is serviced by the Redstone Arsenal MWR Outdoor Recreation office."
"Nice, out of the way campground. Fire pits and tables, shower house/restrooms. Fishing and boat launch nearby. Shaded and quiet."
"They have great shaded lots for your RV, two playgrounds for kids, and access to water. Their bathrooms had more showers than the other campground as well. Very remote but, still on base. Would have given them 5 stars if they had a doggie play area."
"Nice shady campsites. Amenities could use updating, but for the price you can't beat it. 30 and 50 amp available, water at each site; however, no sewer hook up at camp. Dump station close by on the way out."
"We camped here in a 37 ft fifth wheel. It looked like there were only certain spaces that could accommodate the size. There was a playground for kids and across from the campground is the Tennessee river. It's very secluded and quiet with lots of shade. It takes about 15 minutes to get to gate 10 from this location. RV hookups included 50A/30A electric, and water. Dump station is located on shield road before you turn towards the park. There is a bath house for use as well. Overall it was not a bad stay. There were a good amount of long-timers, but I assume that helps keep the campground open as it's not well known. I will probably stay again."
