Reviews of Big Spring Park
"A great park to lounge and relax in nature. Bring a blanket and just chill. Walking trail. In the heart of downtown. If you are bringing kids...stock up on hydration and a ball. You can feed the ducks and the fish. Hsv Museum of Art is on the same grounds as well as a semi fine dining restaurant. Sometimes, there are food trucks. No restrooms, unless you go inside the Museum or across the street to one the hotels or there is Publix supermarket within a few mins nearby. Editing to add...Tinsel Trail A must-see each year. There is so much creativity and businesses to check out."
"Beautiful park in the middle of downtown. The lights on surrounding buildings are lit up at night, and there is often some kind of free event happening."
"I have been going to Big Spring Park since I was a child. I love how they remodeled the walkways. My children and I have enjoyed the rent a bike. I am a volunteer with NOMA and every year we have our End Addiction Walk there. It is a beautiful walking park and there's so much history. Highly recommend."
"Big Spring Park is always a nice place to go with family or friends or out on that first date. The park is always clean. The people are very friendly and the scenery is really beautiful. The city has done a great job with the park. There are bikes And electric scooters that you can rent. The water feature of the park is spectacular to say the least. The variety of wild life that you can see. It varies from day to night time. The ducks, the Koi fish, and at night you can see the bats flying out from under the bridge taking sips of water from the stream below. The park overall is a great place to go and spend time."
"Downtown Huntsville is beautiful but Big Spring Park is the gem of the entire city! There is plenty of lawn to enjoy family time, the water is beautiful and you can feed the ducks or fish, the surrounding architecture is tasteful, and the surrounding city vibe is peaceful! I really liked the Japanese Friendship Bridge at this park."
