Reviews of Everwise Credit Union
"Banker was rude. Walked in to open an account and was turned away as we didn’t have an appointment. I was told they were short staffed Sorry!!! What kind of customer service is that? I have my home loan and car through this bank along with a checking account. Very disappointing level of customer service. Banker didn’t even attempt to assist me."
"Had some trouble with our mortgage being taken out twice on the same day! Sierra helped my wife and I so much it was great! She was extremely helpful!"
"Took my 11 year old son into this branch this afternoon to open his first savings account. He had a small jar of quarters- see picture below. We walked in at 535pm and the teller asked what we needed and I told her my son would like to open his first savings account. She asked, "You know we close in 25 minutes?" I replied, "Would you prefer that we go someplace else?" She then asked if we had his social security card and birth certificate and I told her yes. She then instructed us to wait a few minutes, that somebody was on the phone and then they would be with us. She also looked at the small jar my son had in his hands and she said nothing. We waited just under 10 minutes. The gal at the desk who was on the phone ended her call and asked us to have a seat. She asked why we're there and I told her my son would like to open his first savings account. She then asked if we had his social security card and his birth certificate, and I told her we did. She then told me they don't accept loose change and that we would have to go to a change machine to have it converted. I asked her again to clarify and she repeated and I asked her if she would prefer that we go someplace else and she said she couldn't answer that and wouldn't make an exception. I then told my son that if you ever go to a bank and they won't accept what you have to give them that you need to go to another bank that wants your business because Everwise clearly does not want ours. We didn't open an account today because they wouldn't take what we had to give them. Mind you, the first gal who was clearly not interested in us being there because they were closing in 25 minutes didn't say anything about the small jar of quarters that we had. I can't believe this experience and how they treated us. I hate that this is my son's first experience at a bank. Yes, this is a first world problem, and there are hungry people in this world and others with real issues like lack of medicine and lack of shelter. Fortunately, these are not issues that my family is having to deal with right now. My issue is having wasted some of our afternoon going to a bank that clearly doesn't want to open a savings account for an 11 year old boy. I will never open an account with Everwise, and I will never recommend them. What an absolute lack of ambition and desire to serve someone who chose Everwise amongst the many other banking options to begin his banking relationship with. Do better, Everwise! You get 1 star. If we could give 0 stars for this review we would because 1 star indicates some sort of effort made and the only effort Everwise made today was to turn a future millionaire away. We were made to feel as though we were a bother and not wanted by Everwise today."
