"What a great new addition to Cypress Creek access. There is ample parking a wide ramp down to the river and a really nice loading area and put in with steps and a ramp to guide your boat to the water. There is nice signage and a river map I believe there was porta potties but I can't be sure."

"Probably the nicest kayak / canoe slip I've seen. New paved parking area with ample space. All fenced in. Well maintained wooden slip and concrete steps down to the river's edge. Gate to the ramp was locked when we visited, so we had to walk our gear down. Gates are locked at sundown."

"Took a quick morning kayak run from Cox Creek Blvd to Wildwood Park. It rained the night before, so the water was slightly higher than normal. It took about two hours with minimal paddling. After spotting the low-head dam, we paddled down it with no trouble (this is not to suggest that you do the same). We saw lots of wildlife, but no snakes. It was a excellent trip!"
