"a spiritual place for the Aboriginal American to visit and gain your connection and grounding with your original and holy places. I suggest an Aboriginal (afro american to visit. the peace is incredible. the water is super clean and the trees look ancient and amazing. I saw wild tobacco here as well and took a few jet rocks home. it's a spiritual experience."

"This is one of the more historical sites of the area. Not only is it home to the Indian mounds but is also the site where soldiers in Andrew Jacksons army were returning home and used the site to cross the river. It is a local swimming hole and a great place to wade in the summer."

"My family enjoyed this place so much. My 80-yo Dad walked all the way out there, he was so eager to see these mounds. He was NOT disappointed. Hard to hear cars or anything next to the river. Nature was splendiferous!!!!!"
