"It was terrible. The ladies spent only 30 minutes cleaning the downstairs - one small bedroom, one bathroom, a living area. AND CHOSE TO ONLY SWEEP HALF THE LIVING AREA AND MOP NONE OF IT. Only after I went down and inspected did they come back and mop. There was a two hour minimum and they didn’t offer to clean anything else or do a better or more thorough job. They didn’t wipe down any baseboards, didn’t windex the glass door or windows, the sink stopper wasn’t clean. Just overall really really disappointed. The women weren’t professional or friendly. To pay $219 for a terrible cleaning job is unacceptable and I’ll never recommend Two Maids."
"I’ve been using this service for a little over a year. They are very professional. However, I have my favorites. Rena and Kaitlin are super thorough. I’m super OCD and they ease my anxiety when they come. Everyone else that came was just not good. Overall great service."
"I suffered an illness & my mother passed in December. This allowed my housekeeping to greatly suffer. I ordered a "deep clean" with weekly visits thereafter. I received a long list of items that they would do. Two women showed up, they spent two hours at my house & left. The women were super nice but they didn't do even half of the list items. I should have checked better before I let them leave, but I was trying to work from home at the same time. Not surprisingly, no one ever called to schedule a follow up visit or to get feedback on the job. Nearly $400 down the drain and I still had to clean. While I can't prove it, a ceramic teapot that was passed down to me from my late Aunt was gone when they left. I remember hearing something that sounded like a crash at one point but when I hollered into the room, I was told everything was fine. After they left, there was an empty space on the shelf where the teapot used to be. It broke my heart that I spent the money thinking that it would take a load off of me only to discover that I should have just flushed that money down the toilet and done it myself since I literally had to do it myself."
"I had a move-out cleaning however, most of the stuff in the kitchen wasn't cleaned at all. I tried to be nice and pointed the issues to the management as I wasn't present during the cleaning. They sent someone out another day however, nothing really changed. Basically no shelves, fridge or stove was cleaned at all. You have a better chance of cleaning it yourself and save $400. Unlike they advertise it seems like they are not using any special/good cleaning products and just have a damp cloth which they don't even use everywhere. They also make you tip the staff DURING booking and not after the service is complete. There is no refunds and upon seeing the pictures I was told "Those stains won't come out" to grease stains on the stove and backsplash, dust on the doors and inside the shelves. And this is supposed to be professional cleaning company."
"Before I talk about my experience, I just want to say that I’m not the type of person to be a Karen or ever write a review. I understand stuff happens and I would hate to hurt someone’s business because of one bad experience. However, I’m still compelled to write about my experience in hopes of helping someone who can’t risk to waste 280 bucks on a cleaning service that they’d be dissatisfied with. I have a 700 sqft apartment and paid 280 (w/ tip) and did not receive the “deep clean” as advertised. After the cleaning, I called and sent them pics of my dirty rug, dust on my shelves, crumbs in my kitchen, and untouched stains left on my counter and coffee table among other things. This is not mentioning the many things which were untouched like the inside of my cabinets, top of the refrigerator, ceiling fan, my windows (same smudges), etc... I was offered a second reclean (free of charge) but was disappointed to come back to a still dusty fridge top, the same water stains on my coffee table, smudges on my window, and many more. I expected a service costing 280 would get into the nitty and gritty of my apt; instead, I got a subpar service that seemed rushed. I also want to note that my apartment was relatively clean and not some dump before the cleaning. Overall, my experience was very disappointing. I understand that my experience could be the result from just having one bad crew cleaning my apartment. But after, having a different crew come and neglect the same vital areas confirmed my ambivalence with this company. This is not an attempt to get my money back or anything; I just wanted to share my experience. I have used other cleaning services before and have never had a problem with their service. I also want to note that, the person I spoke with was very friendly and understanding of my situation."
