Elliott Irrigation

"They set up irrigation for our whole property and it worked fine for a while. Then one of our big beautiful Dogwood started looking bad. I called them and asked for someone to come out and look to see if any of the system was leaking. The worker showed up, definitely high on something, looked around for 15 minutes and then told me everything looked fine. Please note, you cannot walk our entire property in 15 minutes and our water meter showed there was water leaking somewhere. When our next water bill came for over $1,000.00 I called Elliott and told them about it. They sent someone else who found the leak, in front of our dying Dogwood tree, and fixed it. I told the owner that we expected them to cover the water bill and they said they couldn't because they were going into Bankruptcy and to please not take them to court to make them pay our water bill. We, naively, did not force them to pay. Our beautiful Dogwood tree died, we paid our full water bill and Elliott Irrigation continues to thrive to this day with no hint of Bankruptcy!"

"Not a very honest company. Overpriced and not professional. I called to discuss the bill that I did not know I was going to get for a simple house call (btw, I don't have a problem for house call charge, but $115 for 20 min is a bit steep) and the owner proceeded to call me a "piece of work" and hung up. He didn't even let me finish telling him that I didn't mind paying him for his time, but $115, when I wasn't even told there would be a charge is absurd. Furthermore, they didn't even find the damage to my sprinkler system that another company (who by the way was recommended to me by an irrigation supply company and did the work I needed for half the price of what Elliott Irrigation quoted me) found when they pressurized the sprinkler system. Yes, you read correctly, Elliott Irrigation didn't even pressurize the system to find the damage that was there! Just be sure you're getting all the info you want ahead of time. I don't doubt they do good work, but the professionalism, in my 2 cents worth of opinion, could use some work..."
