"LOVED the Kayak tour. So peaceful and such a fun and different way to explore the bayou. Al was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. On our tour he would point out the nature around us and the wildlife as it popped up. We even got to see an alligator close up (within 6 feet) which I was not expecting at all. "This tour was a dream. I will never forget this experience for the rest of my life. My husband and I did a lot of research before choosing a bayou swamp tour. We were interested in an ecologically ethical company that focused on education and preserving this beautiful ecosystem. Thankfully we read other reviews that said this company was just what we were looking for. We went on this tour last week and had the absolute best time with our very kind tour guide, Dean. We felt that it fulfilled everything that we were hoping for and looking for in a tour. I really loved being in a small group (6 people in our group and Dean). We were able to ask more questions and it felt much more personal. There was such an excellent balance between exploring/driving around on the boat and listening to Dean as he taught everyone along the way. Dean would always teach us something and then point out what he just taught us on the way as he was driving the boat. I couldn’t imagine someone more knowledgeable about the history in and around this area and what is happening present day. It felt perfectly well rounded. Dean showed the utmost respect and reverence for every part of this landscape. He is really funny too, which is always a really fun perk!! I have been recommending this tour and this company to every single person since that day. I am without a doubt coming back to this tour the next time I visit. My heart is just so happy to know that Dean and his family are dedicated to preserving this area."

"Great tour, just for the 2 of us. Al is a friendly and very knowledgeable young guy and we had fun with him during the 2 hrs tour. We spotted a ca. 2 meters long gator, several tiny crocodiles and lots of birds. Do highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature!!!!"

"What an incredibly personal experience I and my family had with Last Wilderness Swamp Tours. Al was very attentive to the six guests (four from my family) he had on board his vessel. It only seats nine people so you really do get a very exceptional tour. What is in the swamp when you arrive is what is there... no baiting on this tour which is why we chose this eco friendly tour. We saw several alligators, multiple birds, turtles, an owl, and several fish attempting to jump into the boat. The day we were supposed to take the tour was exceptionally hot and they adjusted the time of the tour so it would be cooler. Great communication. Highly recommend!!"
