"Not all campgrounds are in the same class. If I were to rate this across all the resorts I’ve visited across the country, it would be relatively low. My wife and I stayed here one night as we were passing through. It met most of the criteria we needed. We would not consider it for a longer stay, but as mentioned there are different categories of campgrounds. The only not-so-appreciated thing I will mention is that the site we were provided was far from level as advertised. Our 5th wheel’s left tires were off the ground about 5 inches to obtain level. We would not have stayed or I would have procured some lumber or something had this been more than an overnight stop. Otherwise, the neighbors were quiet and its proximity to the highway was great."
"I wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely not worth the $47/night. No staff at check in, poorly marked, didn’t know which direction to go, sites are washed out gravel, no tables, no amenities. The bathhouse was the most disgusting one I’ve seen in all our travels. Thankfully only an overnight stop."
"Everyone has the cutest campers. Driving through, you will see everyone's pull-outs and "patio areas" which has absolutely inspired a lot of design/remodel choices for my own camper. I stay with my 2 dogs. Lots of dogs. There are long trails and open fields where I feel safe to walk (pick up some tick and flea meds! and use a comb!). The ponds are absolutely gorgeous. Staying here year round- I have seen families of geese and turtles grow up around them, as well as being able to observe migrational patterns and seasonal critters. There's fishing, boating, and swimming in the pools! I enjoy the vintage, almost post-apoco vibe I get from the tennis court and cabins. It's a fun time for the family and you actually can drink at the park, you just can't be flagrantly drunk at the park- so you can put your alcohol in a coozie and kick back by the fire pit. Longer term residents are all actually very amicable. Mrs. T is the best park manager. Positive experience, 10/10."
"Very strange place. No staff on duty when we arrived mid-afternoon. Mostly occupied by permanent residents which makes you feel like you're an invader. One night was plenty. Sign says "No Alcohol"...what????? Later found out that means "in the park" not in the campground. So, go ahead and have a drink - you'll need it when you wish you were camping somewhere else. Sage Bar & Grill with live entertainment nearby is pretty good - check it out."
"Love it!! The lake is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Laundy allows you to pay through app, so that is an amazing bonus."
