"I was seeing Lana for individual therapy back in 2008-2009 when I was a teenager. Once a year or so, I think back to how much Lana helped me during such a difficult time. Lana taught me the building blocks to managing and overcoming anxiety. She had such a calming presence and was able to help me view things differently. “Knowledge is power”. If it weren’t for Lana, I probably wouldn’t be living the life I’m living today. I will be forever grateful for all she did for me 15 years ago."

"Lana Allen is without a doubt one of the best counselors out there. It is hard to find someone you connect with but Lana helped my son years ago through some anxiety (which I also suffer from). His counseling resulted in my own counseling and finally seeking medical help to better manage my own anxiety. It is very difficult as a parent to teach healthy coping skills when you are limited yourself. She helped me build better skills in my son who is now a juniors honors student with a bright future. I recently contacted Lana again about my 12yo daughter who since covid had been distance learning. We noticed some behaviors that were concerning. I was able to get in and start sessions with my daughter. Knowing that people don’t always connect I was prepared to find someone that would be a good fit but so glad I started with Lana. She helped both of us feel like we were on a better path with communication and my daughter really enjoys talking to Lana. Lana suggested we talk to our pediatrician since regardless of symptoms if there is an underlying medical issue no amount of counseling will help. She was right! We did blood work and my daughter has hypothyroidism. You have no idea how relieved I was to hear this. We would have just kept suffering through if it hadn’t been for Lana’s advice. The Dr. was very impressed to hear that the family counselor was more of a partner in the treatment and helped guide me back to a medical provider. We are on a good road now covid or no covid Lana is a true blessing!"
