"I have never had my nails done so horrible! I highly do not recommend coming here ti get you your done. The almost made one of my nails bleed because of them filing them down so low. I also asked for a specific design... A palm tree, which should be fairly easy for nail technician to do, so when you look at it it looks like a kindergartener did it. Also, for a full set of acrylics with 4 designs it costs a little over $50! I should not have to pay so much to get my nails done. I hate to have to review this place the way I did, but some things just have to be said."

"Today I decided to get my nails done and try a new place, on this side of town. I went into Vo Jewelers and Nails. Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted. And proceeded with getting my nails done. My nail technician was very polite. Once getting my nails started I looked over and saw Mr Vo, jewelry area. It said he made jewelry repairs, an anything necessary a qualified Jeweler could do. Due to a medical surgery. I had gained a little weight after surgery. (30lbs) My fiance proposed to me. He bought me a size 7 ring. And upon losing the weight, going back to my previous size. My fingers got small and my ring was very loose. Considering, I wear a size 5 and a half, and always have. I went to the place my fiance purchased my ring. And was told that they could not resize it. Then I went to three different Jewelers, that are also jewelry stores. In Mobile. Being told they could not size it either, due to no experience. Or I had to give them my jewelry for at least 2 weeks. Or I had to give it to them to mail off. Afraid of someone swapping my jewels or my engagement ring getting lost in the mail. I just decided to deal with the situation. I bought cheap guard bands to try and keep my ring on. And even tried sizers. And was very unhappy. I dealt with this for now almost 2 years. Even lost my engagement ring in the laundry. Mr. Vo, was such a welcoming person, he had such a wonderful spirit about him. When I ask my nail tech about him. She gave him a positive referral. Even said he may could fix my ring. So she allowed me to go speak to him, for just a second. He assured me that he could take care of the matter. I had Jeweler friends in the past, that I have seen correct jewelry or size them. Anyone I asked in this town, that are at well-known jewelry stores. Kay Jewelers, Goldsteins, and The Karrot patch. No one seemed to be efficient or Price Worthy. Mr. Vo, explain to me how he would size my ring, and he said the exact same way I had been describing to everyone else. In the time it took to get my nails done. 1 hour. Mr. Vo had taken my engagement ring. Resized it, to the exact size of my finger. When he gave it back to me and put the ring on my finger. I blinked and tears came out my eyes. The emotional trauma I had suffered when I lost the ring, was overwhelming. I do hair and I could not even do my clients on a daily basis, without worrying about the ring falling off or going down a sink drain. His price was absolutely reasonable. That I could not believe it. And completely time efficient. 1 hour? That is amazing ! I took his cards, after I thanked him, and cried a little bit. Because of the emotional overwhelming feeling that came over me. Knowing that this engagement ring from the person God brought in my life. Will always be on my finger. And time efficient. No two weeks for me. Got my engagement ring done in 1 hour. Excellent service, great attitude, great staff, and clean atmosphere. I will be back.
