"Visited the Coventry Farmers Market at Hale House. It is a great day out."
"Lovely small museum with colonial history plus a display of Caprilands. There is an archive upstairs that can be viewed by appointment. The guide, Sue, is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful."
"The two-room museum is a lovely little gem, in a bit of a transition as they recently acquired a large collection of items from the now closed Caprilands Herb Farm, also in Coventry. Much is displayed but more is in storage, I think. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about the history of the house and the many items on display. She answered all our questions and engaged my school-age grandchildren in conversation, too. When we asked about old wagon wheels, she also opened up an outside shed to show us the two wagon wheel carriages that have been restored. Then she opened a carpentry shed with well used tools hanging from hooks and rafters and then a barn filled with other artifacts yet to be displayed. It was all fascinating. There was no cost but we gave a donation, much appreciated."
"It is full of historical resources. Miss Whey is working on it. We were fortunate enough to meet her coincidentally, she took us inside the house and explained in detail. I was really very excited to see those antique pieces of history, learned about their contribution during 2nd world war time. I will surely visit that museum once again."
"It's an interesting place. We went there when it was closed. But luckily we found Susan Way there. She was very helpful and informative. She gave us a lot of historic information about the museum. She also showed us artifacts related to the museum. She is very knowledgeable about her work. Love to meet her when the museum will be open for this season."
