"This was my second visit in under 2 months. The first visit was my first time meeting Dr. Nolan and it was just okay. I blamed myself because I wasn’t ready for the first visit. I was confused on how to word my concerns. The second visit I had a questions in my notes app. I was ready to understand the diagnosis. I was not given time to ask my questions. I felt rushed. She did not ensure that I understood the why. She never asked if I had more questions. It was like she expected me to blindly follow her lead because she has a degree. Even when I asked if there was a test to confirm, her response was that the treatment is all the same so no point in testing what she already knows to be true. Overall I did not feel heard. I still have not been able to fully explain all of my symptoms and concerns. I’m hoping my request to switch providers is approved."
