"I will miss this old field. Old Dyche stadium got a new name, and now Ryan Field will get a new look and feel. Goodbye, old friend. Custers Last Stand seems like a good observation for a demolition viewing area on a cold day, or any day! Have a dog, and shop local."
"This was my first sorta big college football game. My son who works with the Northwestern organization was able to get my wife and I tickets, in fact these were all access passes. My son has the prestigious job of setting up the table of old school telephones on each sideline. We were able to up the press box at halftime where delightful sandwiches where made available, this may have been the highlight (the sandwiches that is). My son did mention that the stadium was going get torn down soon, so glad we got to enjoy such an historic stadium before the demo."
"Old, outdated, but a nice experience. Field was in terrific shape. Evanston is beautiful. Looking forward to the remodel."
"Great place to see a game. You can probably sit close to the field if you’re behind the south end zone and willing to sacrifice your depth perception..made it tough to gauge yardage but more fun overall. FYI: No beer sold inside the stadium. Right off the Central stop on the Purple line, if you’re coming from Chicago, transfer from the Red line at Howard."
"Went to the Ohio State vs. Northwestern game. It was windy, rainy, chilly, but it was worth it. Stadium was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. We got soaked to the bone, and then air dried. The Buckeyes won so that made our experience that much better. Parking was 50$ down the road, I would suggest finding a way to ride the train in, or a bus, or shuttle. Some Parking was 80$. We will be going back fo another game sometime."
