"A large portion of the congregation is a close knit community. Those who are not are not ostracized but welcome to join. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The pastors are not a bunch of know it alls but seem to be in pursuit of truth. I went to an event the other night right after work. I smelled like a sweatsock but the pastor's wife treated me like a lifelong friend. The building was full of the joy of the Lord. I laughed myself to tears a couple of times. I left so refreshed and encouraged that I found myself looking forward to going back. By the way, I usually dislike church people."
