Reviews
"Extremely kind and genuinely interested in me and my well being. I have had too many experiences to count with uninterested, no eye contact doctors. Dr. Trainor not one one of them and I would happily recommend her to anyone in the area!"
"After first visit in Oct. Ms. Trainor's Ultrasound machine went. This continued all the way to this present day. They kept calling and rescheduling for the next month..She was hoping that I would commute to her next location, which I refuse to do. The professional thing to do is to get your machine fixed. Which she has not done to this date. 2/5/21. I do not recommend Ms. Trainor as a physician for my WORST enemy. Her approach to her patients care is very Lackadaisical."
"The abridged version of this review is that Dr. Trainor is an incredible doctor that goes above and beyond for her patients. Because I wanted more examples when looking for a new doctor a very long review is below for those interested. I found Dr. Trainor online and chose to make an initial appointment due to the good reviews. At the time I was starting the process to have a baby on my own using a sperm donor. I had heard many stories of women having their OBs encourage them to wait and not become a single mom by choice so I was apprehensive to talk to her about this choice. At the initial appointment she was very supportive and said, “well I hope to see you back before your next annual appointment for a pregnancy appointment instead!” What a relief! Soon there after I was successfully pregnant and scheduled my first pregnancy appointment by the time the appointment came around I was very sick and had lost several pounds. She immediately put me on medication and said we needed to monitor weight gain closely. The sickness got worse and I was eventually diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum. This lasted my entire pregnancy. Dr. Trainor took it seriously right away and never risked letting me get sick enough that my baby was in danger. After several interventions (anti-nausea medications, zofran pump, steriods, feeding tubes, etc) Dr. Trainor suggested picc line nutrition and it was what worked for me to end with a successful pregnancy. It would have been easy to throw in the towel and say we had exhausted options but Dr. Trainor was willing to think outside the box to help me have a pregnancy that would give me the best bet of having a healthy baby. No home health company would allow me to do picc line dressing changes with them while also working full time, which was a necessity as a incoming single mom. Dr. Trainor allowed me to come in weekly for her to do the picc line dressing changes and labs herself so I would be able to continue working while finishing out my pregnancy. After this arrangement I began gaining weight and truly believe this saved my pregnancy and baby. At 38 weeks my weight gain stopped and Dr. Trainor said it was time to take the baby early. She said that the benefits out weighed the risks at that point. Dr. Trainor had a well thought out induction plan, unfortunately my body was not ready to give birth. During the induction process I inquired about when we decide to do a c-section. She said to trust her and that this way of inducing (cytotec, foley bulb, and then pitocin) was highly successful and she truly believed I could have a successful vaginal birth. Following the foley bulb procedure I went from zero cm dilated to 10cm. No pitocin was ever needed. My daughter was born in all of six contractions pushing. During the last two contractions the baby’s heart rate dropped and didn’t come back up like it should. In the moment Dr. Trainor was so calm I didn’t know it happened. It wasn’t until the baby was safely in my arms that my support person told me what had happened. While pushing she calmly told me this needed to be the last push so she was going to perform episiotomy. She never signaled a cause for alarm but kept the situation calm in an effort to get my baby here safely. There aren’t enough words that I could use to recommend Dr. Trainor. I am grateful for her every time I look at my newborn daughter. I just went to her first check up and at six days old she has surpassed her birth weight (after losing weight in the hospital). She was struggling in the womb as I couldn’t provide her with the nutrition she needed. Dr. Trainor saw that and when it was safe, delivered her so she could begin to thrive on her own. I would highly recommend Dr. Trainor to anyone as she cares about her patients and sees them through even the toughest pregnancies! Further compared to all the other reviews she clearly individualizes treatment based on the needs and wants of each patient and honors their wishes to help them have the pregnancy and birth they desire."
"Dr. Trainor is absolutely amazing! I had an easy pregnancy but a slightly complicated delivery but Dr. Trainor went out of her way to ensure my baby was delivered healthy and without a c-section. She was incredibly calm and cool in the delivery room, never once causing me any panic even though the situation was less than ideal. I would recommend her to anyone and I will be happy to use her for any future pregnancies!"
"I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Trainor! I brag to all my friends and family about the wonderful care I received. I wanted a natural delivery, which isn't always accepted today and some doctors will try and push an epidural. Not only did she not push for drugs, she was completely supportive of my decision. She never once talked about inducing, which was wonderful to not have a date in my head that I would stress over and count down too. Dr. Trainor was not on call the day I went into labor, she did not have to come to the hospital and deliver my son, but she did! She checked in on me multiple times in the hospital, and was my biggest cheerleader after delivering my large babe all natural. I'm so grateful I had her as my doctor, she truly goes above and beyond for her patients. You can tell she enjoys what she does, and is incredibly passionate about it."
