"She might be good if you are already pregnant and having a baby, but if you are seeing her for infertility, RUN. She wouldn’t see me in May after we had been trying for a year for our second child because it had to be a year since my miscarriage (even though it was just a chemical pregnancy and I wouldn’t have even known if I wasn’t testing all the time). Then, she did very minimal blood work on me, refused to do an ultrasound because she said it wasn’t necessary, then started me on Letrozole before my husband was ever seen by a specialist. It took me months to even get in to see her. When I finally had my PCM get me a referral for Midwest Fertility, they got me in without two weeks and already have done way more testing to figure out what is wrong and have come up with a game plan for the way forward. She wasted a year and a half of my time when I could have a baby by now."
"Awful bedside manner. First of all, good luck seeing her because she’s always booked solid for 3 or 4 months. I’ve been a patient at Johnson memorial for 5 years and the only reason I stayed for so long was because dr.smiths Nurse practitioner Doris was amazing. Since she left last year I refuse to go back to Dr.Smith. She is down right rude. Sat in front of me and my mom and told me I was gonna get as big as a house if I go on birth control and I needed to control my eating so I don’t get fat if she prescribed it (I had a BMI of 24 at the time). Last year I had to see her after her NP left and after she asked if my birth control patch was staying on and I had replied yes ( I’ve never had a problem and if I had a problem I would call the office) she continued to doubt and belittle me on the patch I’ve been prescribed on for the past 4 years. Awful practitioner and seriously rude."
"Dr Smith is a phenomenal OB. She’s always been very gentle, understanding & super personable! Not only is she amazing so is her team. I’ve always been able to get into the office in a timely manner & get all questions/concerns fulfilled with no issues. Highly recommended!"
"I went to her when I was pregnant with my second baby and she was amazing! I always felt at ease with her! The staff there is also amazing! They loved my son and loved seeing him! He loved them!"
