IU Health Physicians Obstetrics & Gynecology - Methodist Medical Plaza II

"Yeah so my girlfriend had an appointment recently and I was told that she would be back in a "minute". I had to wait in the waiting room for her to be done, while other guys came out with their significant other. Any other IU Health Organization I never had a problem with feeling "uninvited" to, but we won't be back."

"I cannot stress enough that you should pick a different providers office. I am not saying that the providers at this office are bad, because I've had several good ones-- but the turnover is terrible. Almost every year I see a different provider and this year I got handed to a provider (that I hadn't screened) hours before my appointment because the original provider had been kept longer in a surgery (and of course I had to take time off work for the appointment). I literally have IU Health insurance and the top tier plan and after having a procedure done (that I got an estimate for) I was billed $100 more than the estimate. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to this office, or any IU Health facility-- if I can help it!!"

"This is to help someone out there reading this review because I know reading reviews helps me this clinic doesn’t answer calls once u become a patient there nor return messages I have left several messages and my calls don’t get returned the ultrasound tech is the rudest person u could ever encounter in healthcare even after I complained no one called me to follow up or reassure me I wouldn’t get her again one time a nurse called, my sister answered the phone and asked them to hold they kept talking by the time I got to the phone and said hello they said do u have any questions then I said I just got on the phone and they simply hung up I called back several times but they of course didn’t answer the phone they also canceled appointments without notifying me not a call a voicemail a message nothing I would see them in the patient portal then puff gone. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else because there is got to be a place that actually answers calls returns messages and has great patient care all around but this place is not it."

"I hate to do this but the ultrasound tech is rude. I only attempted to walk back with my daughter because she asked me to. She has difficulty explaining things so I was hoping to help her through any difficult questions. The tech stopped me at the door and aggressively stated, "She will be back in a minute." I figured it was policy so no biggie. My issue is when my daughter comes out, she is visibly upset. You were unapproachable, impatient when she tried to explain herself, and patronizing. I believe the words "you're a big girl" were mentioned. I didn't get a name but we are just leaving the appointment and I am in the parking lot as I write this review. According to my daughter she was also aggressive with the ultrasound. We drove from Cumberland to get here but we will stick with our normal location from here on out."

"Use to see Dr. Perkins and had fantastic care. Decide to switch halfway through my second pregnancy to iu west since it’s much closer versus over an hour. Haven’t had my first appt with them iu west yet, so I am still under YOUR care. Got an attitude upon checkout that I was switching from the scheduler. Had to call about an ONGOING issue I’ve been being treated for and unfortunately got the same lady on the phone stating “my question for you is aren’t you switching doctors?” What does that have to do with my ongoing care with my current doctor which is still through iu eagle creek. I use to recommend this office so much. Not anymore."
