"I have been here less than 24 hours and every minute has been a nightmare. I have got to get out of here and I suggest if you care about anyone do not send them here. They have no staff, what staff they have speaks very little english, nurses do not respond. I have not been able to get any of my medications. It's insane. I chose this facility because my grandmother had been here a number of years ago and received good care. I can assure you this is not the same facility. The person who talks you into coming to their facility told me that I would have my own room in the rehab unit. When I got here I found out there is no separation. I'm right next to people with Alzheimer's and dementia. That is not their fault but it is a very hard thing to be around when you are not suffering from it. I have no confidence that I'm going to get any of the rehab for my wound and injury that I need. I waited over 45 minutes for my first call light to be responded to. That was the first time I asked to speak to a nurse. I had only been here about 2 hours and nothing had been done and I hadn't received my medications. No nurse ever came. My next call light took about 20 minutes to respond to and when my door opens you can hear the laughing and the hilarity and the freaking partying going on down at the nurse's station. I requested a nurse. No nurse ever came. My next call light was answered fairly promptly in about 15 minutes which I still think is very slow but you know I guess it's improving and the age who came did not understand the word for water or tissues so if I had something really bad I needed help with I don't know what I would have done I had to act out getting a drink of water and blowing my nose in order to get water and tissues. I again asked to see a nurse no nurse ever came. A nurse just came. Said my medications didn't come in so that's why I didn't get them. So no insulin for me I guess. STAY AWAY"

"If I could give no stars I would. My aunt went to their rehab center after a fall and hospital visit. They left her in bed most days, she was soaked with urine and feces most of the time. The kicker, we wanted to transfer her to another facility because of the poor care and we found out that she fell out of bed and no one told us, even though they documented that they told us. She had been confused, lethargic and not able to talk much since the fall, but we had no idea why until we found out about the fall. We literally just left there and are on our way to the ER with her. I swear if she has a brain bleed, they won't be in business much longer"

"As of July 17, 2023 and before, the things I have heard about this place is definitely not good!!!! Upon viewing the website when I finally found it, no where on there is any kind of contact information for a complaint or a concern….just if you want to recognize someone!!! I find that quite strange!!! I know things is hectic in today’s world with people not wanting to work due to companies underpaying but there’s no reason for this company to be ran the way it’s being ran as MUCH as it cost to stay there!!!! One of my BIGGEST concerns is the medication being administered in a “timely” manner to the patients/residents…..especially those that is ordered to take it at a certain time and some be missing dosages!!!! Which can cause more problems in a major way!!! Second BIGGEST concern is hygiene such as bathing, being changed (soiled/bowel movements) and bed linens being changed!!!! All of this can cause major bed sores that we all knows what they lead up to!!! Along with a few other concerns My main concerns I listed here I consider VERY serious….How do is cost in the thousands to stay here but the place is understaffed!!! Please help me to understand this…this complaint is for the CEO or the President of the company, the people who most definitely can look into this problem and make changes immediately to make sure their “paying” residents/patients are satisfied and being very well taken care of all the way around the board!!!! I look forward to speaking with someone about my concerns!!! Thank you!"

"Sharing my review for my mom. My mom who is 89 years old fell and fractured her hip in January 2023. She went to University Heights for her rehab. The staff there are wonderful - from nursing, CNA's, PT and everyone in between. My mom was treated with kindness, empathy and compassion. She was able to come home this week! A great facility!!"

"I have never had so many issues with one place in my life! I firmly believe that they are stealing medication from the patients because what you ask for you don't get. I have been here for over a week and I am on pain medication from a hip surgery from a fall and I am supposed to be on pain medication every 4 hours and when I push my button sometimes it takes them 2 hours to answer the call light, unless I'm in the bathroom and I pull the string. I have waited up to 4 hours to receive my medications which makes them 4 hours late! They are due every 4 hours when I ask for them not a scheduled time. I was due for pain management medication at 2:00 a.m. and the nurse informed me that I will not be getting any pain medication probably because I'm due to be discharged at 11:00 a.m. in the morning. That tells me right there that somebody is stealing medication! If the Dr prescribes medication every 4 hours it should be on the cart. There have been many times when I have asked for two pain pills and they come back with only one saying there's an issue with the cart. I'm getting tired of these excuses! I will be calling the state to report theft of opioid medication from patients."
