"Dr. Monk gave us exceptional care when I birthed our son. She was kind, very patient with the birth progression, knowledgeable, and actually listened when I told her how I wanted the birth/ post birth to go. She let me feel “in charge” of our birth story (as far as no medical interventions were necessary). We are so grateful for her care and service."

"I’m actually surprised at the other two reviews on her stating she is knowledgeable and friendly. I visited her for a wellness exam and cycle control. She asked me what bc I used to use, blindly wrote me a script, was not friendly at all (actually very cold and flippant), and didn’t seem to care about the concerns I brought to her attention. Spent a total of 3 minutes with her I think. That is not why I’m writing this review. I called her office to ask some questions about my prescription. The nurse told me she would take my questions to Dr Monk and they would call me later. When she called me back, she gave me INCORRECT INFORMATION about how to use my prescription. Me trusting in my doctor, I followed their directions and ended up with complications. I followed up with another doctor shortly after this and told them what they had told me. They were very surprised and stated it was not correct information. I’m very disappointed I’ve had to have this type of experience, but if it’s taught me one thing, I will now always advocate for myself and know that all doctors don’t have your best interest in mind. I believe she is done practicing and taking some type of management job within the hospital. Probably a good thing, she seems burned out. I would stay away from this doctor if she goes back to active practice in the future."

"Ashley Monk was an amazing Dr. she went above and beyond for both me and my unborn baby through so many different obstacles throughout my pregnancy.. She's very friendly, knowledgeable and keeps her patients/babies in her best interest. I would recommend her to anyone expecting or soon to be."
