Reviews of University Village Peregrine Hall
"My daugther lives there .She loves it too"
"Talk about the best college memories at both dorms. The housing staff were great and helpful. Great community to live in and I absolutely loved the University Village. Proud Purdue Alum! :)"
"Be very careful about staying here. It seems like a good deal but i tried to move out at the end of semester because I couldn't afford it, and they said i still owed the next semester rent. In spite of being independent and military vet, admin told me to go scratch. Housing director was arrogant and made me feel like hes more interested in running a business than student welfare. Avoid."
"Can't complain anything about the dorms. Its peaceful and nice here. Two bedrooms are placed on opposite sides with doors in between which makes it convenient. Clean and maintained units. The staff is really nice. The only downside is that there is no water fountain except on the first floor."
"I have lived in these dorms for almost two years now. It honestly feels like you get treated like a child. There are SOOO many rules for the price you pay. You can only have an overnight guest for 4 days a month, quiet hours that barley get enforced, only four hours a day to pick up a package. The cost of living here is insane. Last year the water heaters went out on Griffin and kids were having to shower at the gym or in another building, it took almost half a semester to get it fixed. There always seems to be something broken. Theres locks on the recycling bin so you have to wait once a week for someone to pick it up. The furniture looks like it hasnt been cleaned since the dorms put it in the building. When I moved into my new room at Griffin, it was terribly dirty. The cabinets were sticky, there was roaches that we had to get sprayed for, I dont know, it's been a horrible experience. You're better off finding someone you like and getting an apartment close by, it will overall be cheaper and a better experience."
