"very strange and weird policies for international students. They want international students to pay y1st semester dues which are appox 10,0000 usd before issuance of visa. It should be right after when student successfully gets his visa but they want before and also this amount should be not deducted from your bank statement. Doesn’t makes sense. Bank statement means funds that are available for you living and education. If you pay your 1st semester fees , the bank statement should be amount - first semester fees. I have received offer letter but due to this i will not go there"

"My review is for the 18 hole disc golf course. It is well maintained, and t-pads have good information. Only problem is there are no signs by the pads, so it is hard in some cases, in others near impossible to guess where to go. Distances very from about 220 to over 800'. Once you know the course I'd give it 4 1/2 stars."

"Cannot recommend. If you value integrity or professionalism from both an academic and professional stand point then there are other better alternatives available. Somehow this "school" turned education into a social media platform. Grades are based on log ins, likes, and comments. You definitely get less than what you pay for here. Buyer be warned!"

"Good professors, absolute horrible administrators. Don’t expect to hear anything back from the offices, especially the Financial Aid office in particular. The university will gladly take your money, but don’t expect to get help with any problems or questions you may have."

"I love UIS. The campus is small and there are many friendly and personable professors. It is also very cheap and easy to get parts of your education paid for (unless you get crappy grades). The students are nice and there is very little partying."
