Rasmussen University - Mokena/Tinley Park 8650 Springlake Drive, Mokena, IL 60448

"I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I wish I could give negative stars. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, bridge program student, currently enrolled in the RN Associate program at the Tinley/Mokena location and the first issue is that there is no balance. It is the programs way or no way. Rasmussen University- Mokena/Tinley Campus will change your schedule at a moments notice, last minute, and will not take ANYTHING short of death into consideration. The instructors are ALL sub par with the exception of one or two instructors (one will be leaving during my semester, mid-semester, which should give you insight on how bad the program is), so really theres ONE instructor who is understanding and tries her BEST to teach nursing concepts and knowledge. Therefore, YOU WILL TEACH YOURSELF EVERYTHING FROM BEGINNING TO END WITH NO ASSISTANCE FROM INSTRUCTORS. THEY ARE THERE TO READ SLIDES AND TO TELL YOU TO READ THE BOOK, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ANSWER SIMPLE QUESTIONS DURING LECTURE IN RESPONSE TO ME "DIGGING DEEPER" ON THE SUBJECT MATTER (SIADH) TO BETTER UNDERSTAND CONCEPTS. HAPPENED WITH TWO SEPARATE INSTRUCTORS... THERE ARE NO IN CLASS DISCUSSIONS ONLY DISCUSSION POSTS THAT BECOME "FLUFF WORK" (PROBABLY DUE TO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ON THEIR END). SO YOU WILL NOT TRULY UNDERSTAND CONCEPTS BECAUSE YOUR QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED DURING LECTURE. If you are completely new to the concepts of nursing, don't waste your time here and if you have a family and need a LITTLE BIT of balance, DO! NOT! WASTE! YOUR! TIME! OR! MONEY! I wish I hadn't. I currently have two out of four semesters left and I'm looking to transfer elsewhere OR hurry and get OUT!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!!"

"I highly recommend Rasmussen for anyone looking to start their nursing or transition from LPN to RN. Todd was such a great help in explaining the program and class schedule to me. He answered all of my emails and calls timely. I'm 3 weeks into my program and I've received multiple calls per week from the Advisor team, making sure that everything is going good and if I have any questions. I'm soo thankful to be apart of such a great team of support. I look forward to Class of 2023!!"

My counselor was very thorough and the information session was packed with so many details that made it easy to get started. I was very nervous in my first week, but the student portal was so easy to navigate and I always got quick responses from my instructors.
