"Me and my husband came to Dr. Shell for a second opinion. I was told that I needed extensive surgery by another doctor. I told Dr. Shell the other doctor told me I wouldn’t be able to walk for at least 4 to 6 months. "Gulf Orthopaedics is my go-to place for all of my orthopaedic needs. I started out with Dr. Lane some years ago with shoulder pain and then hip pain. That man can give an injection so fast and so accurately that you hardly have time to realize what's happening before it's done! I've seen Dr. Bowden for old back and neck injuries, and was so grateful to hear he didn't want to operate on either, just use conservative measures. If I ever do need surgery he's my man! And most recently I've seen Dr. Shell for my right foot. It has developed a "leaning" to the right big toe and a hammertoe on the second toe, and this time I can't escape the scalpel. But I feel totally safe with Dr. Shell, so I'm not dreading it, and I'm looking forward to being able to walk pain free! I have the highest esteem for the doctors in this group, and would recommend them for all with orthopaedic issues. They are personable, caring and skilled, and will take time with you, which is very hard to find these days. Also, they have an awesome staff who are friendly and kind and definitely add to your experience!"
