"My son doesn't have as many issues in the honors and college credited classes as some of the others. He seems to be getting a good quality education. I have no complaints and he is college bound. Oh and by the way, just cuz you say that you have "Indian" in your family, doesn't make you a member of a tribe. I helped get rid of the racist mascot. I am not a mascot, my kids aren't mascots and my ancestors aren't mascots. Black face isn't ok and neither is Native face."

"I'm a 2012 graduate, and I loved most of my teachers and the staff that worked there when I went there. Not happy they changed the mascot though.. They'll always be Redskins to me."

"Honestly I've never attended North Side high school, but I will say it seems like an awfully racist school, considering the Native American headdress as their school logo. I hope someday they change it to something more appropriate, possibly "Legends" with a bird of some sort. Just an idea, hope to see it changed."
