I took a water sample to The Pool Doctor and Amanda was SO helpful! She tested my water and explained everything about the chemistry in detail. "We met Jim when we purchased our house 3 years ago that had an inground pool. The pool had been neglected for some time and need a lot of love, but the biggest thing was the liner was shot. We considered just filling it in but had Jim come out and look things over anyway. He told us it was salvageable and gave us an estimate that was less than I thought it would be (and less than filling it in). Later we had him come back with samples and with his suggestions picked out one that fell within our budget. When it came in his crew went to work taking the old liner out, repairing the floor and sides, and installed the new one. We knew nothing about maintaining a pool so enrolled in his "pool school", which taught us how to clean and maintain the chemicals and hints that made keeping a pool clean easier. Whenever we had a question he was just an email away. We've enjoyed our pool every year since. This year we had them replace the sand filter, which probably had never had the sand replaced, and what a difference! The pump runs quieter and the vac picks up better than ever. We're going to be due for a new pool cover too (like I said, this pool needed lots of love) and we'll definitely talk to Jim about replacing it."
