Monroe-Gregg School District

"So my god son attends the elementary school in this district and he is an athlete. He will be 12 in December, has severe ADHD, and trouble in a few subjects. He is constantly being bullied at school since he started his education in this school in kindergarten and despite all attempts to get the situation resolved by his mother the school does nothing. And because this school has done absolutely nothing about these children bullying him my nephew defended himself against them. However before pulling the tapes from the bus they kick my godson off the bus but do nothing to the other child/children that are not only picking on my 11 yr godson but these children have now gone to picking on his younger siblings as well which are my 7 yr old goddaughter and 5 yr old godson and 6 yr old godson. Is the reason my godchildren are not receiving help with getting the bullying to stop that they don’t have “money”? Or because their mother didn’t grow up there? Like really? SCHOOL IS SUPPOSE TO BE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR CHILDREN TO LEARN AND DEVELOP SOCIAL SKILLS NOT TO FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET BACK HOME!!!!! My 7 yr old goddaughter is a cheerleader for this district as well and is being bullied on the field by another little girl and that child’s mother. And yet when brought to other “leading” adults such as your superintendent or principal or whoever runs that joke of a school nothing is done. Y’all need to get it together. This is ridiculous."
