"Last year the school did a decent job of mitigating COVID. So, in 2021, with the variants now spreading exponentially that affects children much more, is much more transmissible, etc. - what does the school decide to do? Eliminate everything that worked when things weren't even as much of a threat and hope that the more virulent strain that affects children worse than before just stays away. No social distancing, no masks, no little dividers on the desks. Your child was in close contact of someone else who got COVID? No worries, no quarantining, no testing - spread it around. Even when doing an "open house" to meet and greet teachers and see the school, when one would think the school was trying to put it's best foot forward and show off how good they are - instead it was a display of total ignorance and irresponsibility. One would think that (especially) any science teachers would have to be embarrased to be employed here, and I question how "Dr" Case can sleep at night (note: doesn't appear he is actually qualified to us that term - looks like he has an Ed S degree per his linkedin page, but maybe he did online classes later or something that he didn't mention . . ). If/when some kids go through hell or dies because of their irresponsibility and negligience, I hope every day for the rest of their lives the members of the school board are haunted by the fact that they would have caused it, or at least they could have prevented it by keeping some basic preventative measures."
