"We love GOCP! We did not have any experience with a cooperative school but everyone was so welcoming and supportive in explaining how the school operates. They had play dates during the summer so we were able to meet families prior to the start of school which was so great for my introverted preschooler! I love getting to work in the classroom, it is such a treat to see first hand how your child’s classroom operates and how your child thrives in class! The two teachers are so passionate about helping all the children grow and thrive; they focus on play and encouraging the children’s individual interests but it is clear to see that in every interaction the children are learning and growing. So glad we found GOCP!"

We love being involved as a family, participating in the classroom multiple times a month, helping to make decisions for the school, family field trips, and the community of friends we have gained. "After several visits to different preschools in the area, we chose Geist Orchard Co-op Preschool. Ultimately, we wanted to have a voice and be a part of the school. We are ecstatic with our choice. It's been great to be part of a community and to have a say in how the community is run. This is our 3rd year at the school and could not imagine a better experience. Families get a chance to volunteer in the classroom 1-2 times a month. It’s been wonderful to be involved and see my child learn in a new setting. You also get to know the other families really well and are able to make some fast friends in the community. For development, both our kid’s language and interpersonal skills have taken great leaps forward. The students have so many opportunities to play and learn. They both have really started to grow into their own during their time at the school. We really love all the outdoor time. We also love that they can play hard at the school, and then change into her spare clothes before coming home. Also, we love both teachers, Ms. Sara & Ms. Jarah. They have been great instructors."

"When I began to look for a preschool for my daughter, I didn't know what a co-op preschool was. I am so happy I took the time to learn about Geist Orchard Cooperative Preschool. It is a perfect fit for our family. Being a stay at home mom, I was worried about transitioning to time away from me. My daughter had always been clingy, and as a pandemic baby, really never spent time away from me. The transition was better than I ever could have hoped for! The ability to be in the classroom helped immensely as did having the familiar faces of the other moms. My daughter became comfortable in the classroom, even on days I'm not there, very quickly! The teachers are amazing, and the other families are so welcoming and caring for all the children. We found the right preschool for us!"

"We absolutely love Geist Orchard Cooperative Preschool. The play-based, child-led approach to learning, incredibly supportive, intelligent and thoughtful teachers, and the warm, familial quality of the co-op experience have all made a world of difference for our son. We followed this preschool through a recent move to a new location and have had an excellent experience in the new facility. The kiddos love the new space, and I find the new location convenient to access. Our teachers, Ms. Jarah and Ms. Sara, are phenomenal. We could not be more pleased to have had them be our child's first exposure to school life. Our child has learned so much from both them, and from his classmates.
