"My kids just started here this year and so far they like it. They actually get a hot lunch and they've not been bullied either. My kids went to a magnate school within IPS for two years and we had nothing but problems with bullying, the curriculum was lacking, and the teacher turnover rate was fairly high. We are excited to see how this school goes and even within the first two weeks it's by far going better than their old school. And they are currently in the sixth and seventh grade."
"My kids have been there since the school started. They are doing great. Keep up the good work PSOE."
"My kids have been here for 2 years now the discipline was great last year, but the dean left and went to anther school and this year discipline sucks. Not to mention my son who has had good grades all year passed all testing even iread. I have been told by teachers all year he's doing well and then they tell me he has summer school or he repeats the grade he's in. IF EXTRA WAS NEEDED WHY WASN'T IT AVAILABLE TO HIM DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. How is this fair. Do they need so many kids for funding and mine just gets to be one. Ha I don't think so. I talked to the man in charge of summer school and he told me there could be different reasons for it, but couldn't give me one good reason why my child had summer school. MY KIDS WILL NOT RETURE NEXT YEAR."
"I posted negative review and they told me to take it down, they were suppressing me. Saying it "Hurt their reputation." I hated this school with a flaming passion. The lunch was horrible, The teachers rarely educated us, and The discipline system was horrible...I'm someone who struggles with respecting others. If a teacher disrespects you, guess what your suspended! Now that I've left the school for good they can't do anything to me."
"You Know Isaiha Steel , I disagree . I have been at PSOE since 3rd Grade . Its developed since then , Its Better i have to be honest. However I am not trying to One-up you or anything but you did kind of push lots of buttons . I have gotten in trouble sometimes but , the school did not give up on me . O attend PSOE now , they have improved since last year . I do agree with you on the food though but its healthy ! Paramount also has a great academics we did great on I-step so obviously they are doing something right ! Also , we have dairy goats , they give us an opportunity to earn money , and thats a life lesson. I like the school."
