"This place.... Wow! The largest selection of pipes I've seen under one roof. Beautiful and immense collection of meerschaum pipes. Tobacco is well blended here. Wide selection of pipe tobacco brands, house blends, and cigars. But that's not all. Pens, leather goods, Indy racing stuff, walking sticks, luggage.... The smell in here is just worth the visit. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Such a great place. I was just passing through, but damn. I miss this place. This should be a national landmark for those that enjoy the finer things in life."

"As a frequent traveler I have visited pipe & cigar shops all over the country. The Briar & The Burly is easily one of if not the best pipe shop I've ever been in. They have a massive selection of medium and high quality pipes of all makes. They also have a descent selection of bulk tobaccos and a wide selection of tinned tobacco's. The proprietor was very friendly and knowledgeable about the pipes and tobacco's in stock. We even talked a bit about F1 and MotoGP racing. Their lounge has plenty of comfly leather lounge chairs stocked with cutters and lighters. I went in several times on my trip to the area and this will be a must stop for me on any future trips to the area."
