Hornet Park Elementary School

Hornet Park Elementary School, located at 5249 Hornet Avenue in Beech Grove, Indiana, is a primary school dedicated to providing a strong foundation for approximately 500 preschool, kindergarten, and first grade students. The school's highly qualified staff is committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally through a strong curriculum and developmentally appropriate strategies.

As principal of Hornet Park Elementary School, I am proud to be a part of the Beech Grove City Schools family, where students truly come first. We believe in building a culture of excellence and providing an enriching environment for our students as they embark on their educational journey.

We welcome both returning and new families to our school community and look forward to partnering with parents and the community to ensure the success of every student. Together, we can help each child reach their full potential and become confident, responsible, lifelong learners.

Our school day begins at 7:30 a.m. on most days and ends at 2:30 p.m., with an early dismissal on Wednesdays at 1:40 p.m. We strive to create a place where all students love to learn and believe in their ability to achieve lifelong success.
