Eastern Elementary School

"My kids have far exceeded the educational box Eastern puts their special needs children in. My son has since been diagnosed as ASD. Eastern Elementary principal Maurer and Asst Proncipal Kantz bullied and antagonized my child. Even after many meetings, a complete ignorance to his need of an IEP, and being labeled by the very men I was supposed to entrust with his safety. We moved back to Georgia and have had ZERO behavioral problems. Take Eastern out of the equation and my son is no longer suicidal. I can not believe the pain that the inflicted on our family after our 6 month old son ( the students) brother passed away by that school still baffles me. But it looks like the truth is being seen 4/10 on great schools with 2/10 student progress rating. Maybe a change woth the superintendent Dr. Cadell. As he told me when I reached out to him about how my family was targeted he told me 'I would advise you to do what Maurer and Kantz tell you to do'. Well I moved and my kids have recovered. Other people should know how they select and segregate children with special needs from the rest. Bully their families. And force them to move out of district. Thanks Eastern for that because my boys have been amazing woth their academics and behavior improving since being targets of unjust bullying by a school system after going through the hardest thing a family ever will go thru."
