Meridian Animal Care Center

"We had to evacuate to Meridian, MS after being hit by Hurricane Ida in Southeast Louisiana. I had my elderly father with me as his home was severely damaged from the hurricane. It was a very stressful situation and with no power, it was scorching hot. I contacted Meridian Animal Care Center 1 day prior to evacuation and spoke with Bethany. As crowded as they were from other evacuees, she assured me that, "we'll make it work." When I got there the following day, they were so gracious, kind, and comforting. I boarded my cat and brought my dog to the hotel with me since he was very stressed from the hurricane and was being very clingy. I can't tell you how at ease they made me feel and by taking such great care of my cat. When you're stressed from a hurricane, you need as much kindness, normalcy, and reliability that you can get. They provided all of that and didn't even charge me for the boarding. Bethany and the rest of the staff are truly angels. We might eventually relocate to Meridian and if/when we do, we will be sure to take our beloved furbabies to Meridian Animal Care Center for veterinary care."
