Pro Forma Title

"I was very hesitant on writing this review but it seems like this company is not hearing me when I’ve called numerous times. I purchased my home a few months ago and the closing was pretty easy, really easy to be honest. However if you have money that is being escrowed to you, I would highly recommend looking closer to details and ensuring everything is 100% correct because I’ve had an awful experience with the ending of everything. I was escrowed money out for repairs on my home and the funds that were left over were to be wrote out to me for further work. However after the work was finished I found out this title company sent the difference back to the seller which was not what was in our contract. It took me reaching back out for them to inquire on the initial agreement and it was told to me by Ms. Rebeekah that there was no left over funds which was incorrect. Once they determined they made a mistake they were supposed to correct it. I was very understanding. It has now been over a month and I never got that payment, once I followed back up (because I was never contacted again) Ms. Rebeekah stated she gave my money out to my contractor w/o confirming or authorizing it with me. I am highly upset and I feel this is being handled very carelessly on Pro Formas side to have 2 mistakes occur with one person. This has also caused conflict with the contractor who is being slow dragging with returning the funds back so she can credit me. I called again to follow up and there is no empathy for the issues this company is causing due to their negligence. I am a person who doesn’t mind letting you know when you messed up especially if you’re being careless of me. I am now on day 6 of the 2nd mistake and there still hasn’t been a resolution nor has there been even an apology for this inconvenience. UPDATE: Issue resolved 7/20/23"
