Reviews of Bluestone communities
"I can’t tell enough on this beautiful property. I love it here! Exceptionally clean, lots of living space. Love the attached garage! A very quite community. & Friendly people. Manager Deborah is first manager of any rented property that I have seen or lived in that puts so much of her time in everything. Does a great job keeping the property clean and very well maintained. I highly recommend anyone wanting to move into a 55+ apartment, This is it!"
"Leasing agent, Debra, at Bluestone Community, is fabulous! I was looking for a place for my parents to move to from Elkhart. She was a tremendous help. She meant with me several times and answered every one of my questions. She has been extremely kind to my parents and very understanding about how hard this move was for them after 65 years in one home. I (we) are extremely grateful for her. My parents are adjusting wonderfully, and love their new home. Thank you again to Debra for all her kindness and also for her always taking the time to chat with them when she sees them. It means the world to them."
"I have been here a year now and I do like it here. The homes are very nicely laid out. I like that they are single story with a garage. There is still construction going on so there are still improvements yet to be done. Overall, the complex is a nice place for us older folk. Deborah, the property manager, is the best property manager that a place could have. A property manager is a mainly an office person, but Deborah does more than just be in the office. She is very knowledgeable, professional, hardworking, and honest person. I have gotten to know Deborah since I have been here and she goes above and beyond for this community and its residents. She has great work ethics which is hard to find in todays working environment. I walk my dog numerous times every day around this complex and I see Deborah out watering the grass, helping residents with their garbage or anything else they need help with, getting homes ready for move-ins and she always talks to residents if they are outside. This past winter Deborah was outside in the cold putting salt down on the sidewalks and sometimes she is here on her own time. She cares about this place and its residents and it shows. Bluestone and its residents are very fortunate to have a property manager like Deborah. The person/people that work at a place like this and care will make Bluestone a place to live for a long time to come."
"We looked at these apartments for my mom after my dad passed away. We ended up needing to move her into an assisted living facility, otherwise, we would have definitely been happy to move her in here. We liked that it was a smaller-sized community and that it's all single-story units, so we didn't have to worry about her having to climb stairs or have upstairs neighbors. The monthly rent was pretty in-line with the other places we looked at in the same area, especially considering they were brand new and she would have been the first person to live in her apartment. The manager, Deb, was friendly and was able to answer all of our questions. We did not feel pressured like we had to hurry up and put money down or risk missing an opening, like we did at a couple of the other apartments we looked at."
"Lived here for awhile. Apartments are good size especially with vaulted ceilings, it makes living/kitchen feel so much bigger. Love the pantry in the kitchen. Love having attached garage. Love living in 55+ community. The property manager, Deborah is such a hard worker, always doing something to improve/maintain the community. She’s caring and helps when an issue arises to get resolved quickly. My only issue is 469 is right in back yard on a couple of buildings. Timing for us to move in was when building 2 was going to be available and we thought we could get used to the highway noise, but still not liking that. Can’t enjoy patio as much and there is constant traffic. Sound walls would be nice. But it was our choice."
