"The price of utilities for these apartments is astronomical. On the average plan, electricity and water equal $198 per month for an apartment of only 542 sq. ft. The kitchen cabinets and the paneling on the walls are both shabby. I've lived at these apartments long enough to know that everything negative said in these reviews about the property manager, Deb, is true. She has a very short temper and frequently lies. She has no idea what the words "customer service" mean. Once, I mentioned the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1993 to her. Her response was, "If you're going to bring THAT up, I think you should MOVE RIGHT NOW. One of the maintenance men said to me, "She could burn the place down and she'd still have a job." Why she still has a job is a mystery. You should also be aware that the only five-star review on this site was written by the owner's son, which throws the average way off."
"I just moved into a remodeled unit. It is actually very nice and sealed up. Read alot of the reviews and was skeptical at first but after meet with the Manager I will say that she is quite pleasant and accommodating. Will update later on. Have nothing bad to say. Quiet place to reside"
"I lived there just shy of a year.. it served its purpose and helped me and my family when we needed it. We lived in one of the updated units, and everything was new, we never had an issue with bugs or rodents at all. The only issues we had were hot water and hot water pressure, we read reviews before moving in and were concerned with all the comments about Deb, but i personally thought she was quite nice, albeit a bit abrasive at times, but she was always helpful and nice to us.. one of my biggest complaints are the use of electric for everything. While your rent may be 675 you should factor in another 250 or so for electric alone. It was comfortable and worked well. But a window unit for hvac will put you at a total of about a 1000 dollars a month, and that's at medium use, we never had excessive electricity pull aside from that window heat/AC unit.(we didn't use the floorboard heat units because of kids)"
"An absolute dump. Very poorly maintained and the rent keeps going up and up. We moved here to save some money to buy a house but now that is gone thanks to wildwood. Every year we have had an infestation of some sort. Roaches, mice, flies, gnats. Trash blowing everywhere. They have now come up with a scheme to make tenants insure the place for them. Wouldn't be surprised if there were some super not suspicious fires and flooding happening soon. Their collecting would just be a coincidence. Do not move here. It is not fit for young or old."
"*DISABILITY-FRIENDLY FLOOR PLAN* This is a good, no-frills, practical place to live. The apartments are small - about 500 sq ft - but they accommodate a couple with a kitty just right. You'll hear comments made about the apartment manager, but she's just all business. I don't believe that leasing agents are there to coddle the (prospective) renters, but rather to keep things running smoothly at the property while protecting the interests of the company. She does those things well. Our maintenance requests have been responded to immediately. We've been here nearly a year and a half. The utilities (electric and water) are not astronomically high because we use them responsibly. Carports, private patios, heat/air-conditioning work well, we use Xfinity internet and there's a great signal, decent height on the ceilings (says my 6-and-a-half foot tall husband). There's quite a bit of storage packed into these small spaces, including a nice pantry closet. Not fancy, not large, but definitely comfortable for us. **The interiors of the apartments are navigable by wheelchair with the caveat that there are some tight spots for wider chairs."
