"They do not follow deposit laws. They charge the 40$ fee and never give a filter. Still haven't heard from about my deposit lease ended 7/19 it's now 11/14. Just look at the bbb page they dont respond to. Edit: I religiously paid rent on time cleaned out the apartment because it wasn't ready prior to move in. Now they withholding my security deposit past 45 day period. They never delivered the filters they promised. And I'm out 700+ dollars. Make sure you keep documents/pic when you leave!0 Edit will be taking that response to court. Yes, lanell and danika who I forwarded my pics to! Your co owner who promised to speak with the owner of the Shannon ave property in indpls. This response just further proves what kinda company you're dealing with! Edit 12/01 Still no refund."
"I lived enjoyed renting through this company and would most definitely rent through them again. There was miscommunication in the last few months of me staying there but over all a really good company to rent from. Honestly one of the best ones I’ve experienced so far. Very professional and friendly my entire time living there."
"Park Place Property Management, this company scams applicants out of their fees as they keep accepting applications and background check fees when they already have leased the property. Nor do they communicate with you about your application, until they send a note that the property isn't available. There communication is Poor and quite frankly Obsolete! DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE FRADUALENT SCAMMERS! Do not pay anything in advance because even if they have the property leased they will retain and not return your application fees. They will lie to you and tell you the property was available at the time, but they will never tell you they have numerous applicants in front of you, but will gladly keep accepting numerous payments regardless of the properties status before and after it is leased. They will also keep the listing up and advertised so people seeking rentals will continue to apply. Think about how many realtor sites that are out there on the web, then times that by how many people are charged for the same property. I'm certain this is part of their business model and a great source of revenue for them. They should not be allowed to continue to charge people for a property they are not able to lease. Therefore, I will be making formal complaints with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and filing a complaint with the city’s relevant housing department. I'm extremely interested in seeing how many people are scammed by these "property managers"? How many people do they do this too? Perhaps their is a large group of people that this is and has happened to, perhaps we can bring a larger complaint against them? If this has happened to you please contact me. We shall see, until then HEED MY WARNING - STAY AWAY!!!"
"Horrible company to rent with… I lived at property for 2 years. The lockbox on the front door was never removed. When I moved in there was ants and spiders. I put in a work order request and they told me it was my responsibility to treat. The kitchen sink faucet never worked correctly and the maintenance tech “checked” it and told me it was fine that it just doesn’t have a lot of pressure at the property. I was charged to fix it on upon moving out so they pulled the cost from my rental deposit. I also was charged to fix the water softener which never worked from the time I moved in. I was also overcharged to cut the grass and trim bushes (which was never communicated that I needed to basically remove all the flower bed items “that I didn’t place or plant before or during my tenure”). I drove past the house almost daily for 3 weeks after moving out because it was close to my workplace and the grass was never cut by the management company. I left it cut and presentable before moving out. They charged me for that. Ridiculous!! My deposit was $1800 and they managed to steal $1500 of that from me returning a check of $300 to me almost 7 weeks after moving out…"
