"I moved to Brooklyn place in the winter this year when there was ice and snow on the ground. When I moved in I was immediately impressed by how much work they put in to removing the ice from the parking lot to ensure everyone’s safety. I visited a few other complexes prior to choosing Brooklyn place and most of them were still covered in ice. This indicated to me that they are willing to go out of their way to ensure the safety and well being of their tenants. In the time that I have been living here any time I have submitted maintenance request or repair orders a member from the maintenance team usually comes the same day and resolves the issues. David, the maintenance team, and management here are outstanding I am so grateful for them! They go above and beyond to ensure the property is well maintained and the tenants are happy. I am in the military and they have been working with me and being flexible due to my changing circumstances. They are easy to get in touch with and have helped relieve a lot of stress from me regarding my moving."

"Rent is ridiculous.. Windows leak... Doors don't seal.. Floors are warped... HVAC is ancient.. $250 electric bills.. Hallways are filthy... Police seem to be on premise quite often. Alot of questionable tenants... Can't wait to move... Really went down hill in 3 years.. Office staff are wonderful but their hands are tied by corporate... Please don't waste your money... also contact PMR Properties in Lousville with complaints..."

"I’ve lived at Brooklyn Place for nearly 8 years I have lived in 4 different units over the span of them years and between my children, my mother, and myself we’ve had 2 units being lived in over that time as well. So between that time we have seen many, many different property managers, assistant property managers, and maintenance people and when I say many I mean at times it was three different property managers within a time span of a week. There have been some good people, some not so good but polite people, and then others that never should have a position that involved them interacting with people that are ultimately the reason they receive a paycheck. But all though in the past there’s been more unprofessional people than there has been good professional people, the entire staff at the present time are not only at the top of the list of staff that are(without a doubt)highly professional that have worked here in the time my family and I have seen come and go but even more so they are willing to go above and beyond to fix, prevent, and address any and all things that this place throws at them. The maintenance employees, even though at this time I feel that they could use another person or two, they don’t let that slow them down. They work to maintain the property and the grounds so that the outside is appealing as well as, from what I’ve experienced with them when we have needed things addressed, (and what I have heard from other tenants that I socialize with) they are very quick to respond and fix issues that come up in not just simply a few days (or weeks like I’ve experienced with past maintenance workers) but typically within 24 hours of submitting a work order and there’s even been times they would address problems that very same day. Then there’s the property manager who by far is/has been the best person in that position that in my opinion and experience with those before her that this property has had. Although she has a lot to juggle at any given time here she’s always been very polite, very professional yet also at the same time personable, willing to go the extra mile to resolve issues, very understanding to different situations, and without hesitation to find solutions if it’s possible for tenants if they have a conflict they are going through if there’s a solution to that problem, unlike quite a few of past property managers, she will work hard to find the best possible solution there is, of course without going against policies of the company guidelines which at that point she will be straightforward and say that when with others before her would avoid and ignore tenants. And so unlike in the past few years it honestly started to get to the point that it was at the point where not only myself but other tenants I socialized with were extremely displeased with the way staff treated is and a lot of times it was like pulling teeth to get things addressed and getting things repaired if they would even attempt to check out things that work orders were sent in. Lastly I highly recommend that they all, property management, management assistant, and maintenance personnel should be recognized and received something special for their amazing work that they all do on a daily basis, they definitely deserve it!!! And the reason I only gave 4 stars for is that myself and some other people that live here very much feel that there should be some speed bumps and stop signs installed because unfortunately there are some people that speed up and down the parking lot and don’t pay attention when driving through the areas that intersect each other and don’t care or take in consideration about the fact that kids are outside and people who are walking their dogs sometimes walk between parked cars and are just utterly reckless. But on the other side of things because of the amazing staff we have here now myself and others are no longer displeased or unhappy to live here in Brooklyn Place!!!!"

"Was thinking about changing locations, and took a gander at Brooklyn Place Apartments located in Evansville, Indiana. The customer service was amazing! The lady I spoke with over the phone and in person was very nice and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I love that the apartments come with washer and dryer already installed, and the updated appliances were a huge bonus as well! I was able to stop a couple people currently residing there who say that the place has really been cleaned up in the past year. Rates are affordable and the location is nice. Will definitely be considering this place on my move!"
