"I have used them for my mammograms for 20 years and have been very satisfied. The warm robes and comfortable atmosphere put you at ease and I love getting results the same day if I have the doctors order with me. P"
"I called to make an appointment for a yearly mammogram today. I have not been here for several years as I have been going somewhere else for this service for because of the treatment I have received in the past. Well I can tell you nothing has changed. It doesn't matter how good your services are and how friendly your staff, nurses and doctors are if you can't even make it past the person on the phone with their indifference and rudeness. I will continue to travel out of my way for better service"
"The Breast Center is a very Nice Building inside and out! No way I'm able to walk to the door from the parking lot even from Handicap parking because it's SO far from the door! I have to use my wheelchair to reach the entrance! Once inside they have a spacious waiting room with different check in windows depending what you are there for. I was there for a Breast Ultrasound and Bone Density Test! The person who checked me in was super nice and very professional. Then I was called back too one of many very spacious dressing rooms and given an really nice clean white robe too disrobe and put on for the Breast Ultrasound, given a locker with a key to put my personal belongings into then escorted to a Very nice lounge area were there was coffee and water provided while you wait with other ladies who are also in robes waiting for thier procedures! I was then taken back for my actual breast Ultrasound. The Technician did an excellent job and was very professional and answered any questions I had during the procedure. From there I went to the room for the Bone Density Scan, which was the first time I've ever had this done and it was very easy, painless and quick! This tech was also very courteous and answered any questions I had. From there I was escorted back to the dressing room given my key to my locker to retrieve my personal belongings and changed back into my clothes and was asked to wait in this small area for a moment because the doctor wanted to speak to me about my breast ultrasound! I was then taken to a small office with my scans up on a screen. The doctor came in and gave me news I actually did not want to receive! I have to have surgical biopsies done soon for a couple of areas of abnormalities the U/S caught! As you can imagine this was very shocking and upsetting. The doctor and the nurse who all stayed in the room were very soft-spoken, kind and comforting to me. He took his time explaining everything in detail and answering all my questions. This was just a routine Breast Ultrasound so I was not really prepared for this type of news. I was very impressed by how they treated me with kindness, compassion and dignity throughout the entire appointment. I gave all these details in case someone was debating on going to have a breast ultrasound or mammogram done and was unsure or maybe scared of the unknown. It's SO important to do these screening tests. The earlier something is caught the better chances you have! I won't know my results until after my biopsy which they also scheduled before I left. I am hopeful for the best outcome! Whatever my diagnosis will be it was caught early because I keep up with my yearly screenings. So for anyone who is having second thoughts it's an easy, painless process that could save your life in the long run!! I highly recommend The Epworth Breast Center!!"
"Had my first mammogram today and was extremely nervous. All the staff was kind and walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable. I can't tell you how much I appreciated it. The facilities are gorgeous and make you feel like you are at a spa when you enter which was really nice. I will definitely return for my future appointments."
"My son has Asthma and Allergies really bad. I took him at the beginning of the month to be seen. Then took him at the end of the same month to be seen. The lady made me feel bad bc he had already been there that month. If I could get him into the pediatrician, I would have. She made me feel like a bad parent bc my son was sick. I also didn't like that I had an appointment the first time and waited 2 hours for him to be seen. The second time without an appointment I waited 3 and a half hours for him to be seen. I haven't been back since. Not for myself or my son. We now go to deaconess convenient care. I used to love that place. Never again. I felt humiliated bc my son was sick."
