"I lived at Landmark for 2 years and just recently moved out. When I moved in, the property manager was attentive and the place well run, but since the new property manager took over, the office has been a complete mess, as none of the office staff know what’s going on or care to keep track. Here are some examples: (1) I recommended a friend who rented an apartment and neither of us ever saw our referral fees because they couldn’t find the paperwork when I asked on several occasions. (2) I submitted my intent to vacate 2.5 months before I moved out, and received 5 calls and 2 letters between then and the end of my lease asking if I was renewing my lease, including 2 calls after I had already moved out. (3) They had no record of all of the paperwork of my roommate moving out 6 months before I did, and sent the security deposit to both of us. (4) I was told if I moved out early that I would receive a pro-rated rent rate for my last month, and on the 10 occasions where I called the office to check on this, the manager was always supposedly in a meeting and unable to talk to me about it, until he finally left me a message saying that wasn’t how it worked even though it was what the office staff told me. They refused to honor this. (5) Emails are never answered and I believe the email to be wholly unmonitored at this point. Also, the maintenance within the apartment was completed in a timely manner but the buildings themselves and the complex as a whole is not. The front doors to each building are falling apart and the front gate is often broken for prolonged periods of time. The buildings also have fob entry and they only give out 1 per person on the lease so no one else is ever able to enter your apartment building if you are not there to let them in. This could be seen as a security asset, but was a pain for pet sitting and not being able to have a backup key for when the doors lock automatically. Overall, it was a fine place to live unless you needed anything from the office. If I was looking for an apartment in the area again, even for the price, I would not choose this one, just because of the hassle of dealing with the office. There is a reason there are so many open units right now."

"Well from the beginning of my lease 11/1/2022 i have asked to have the vent in my room looked at!! The whole house is literally 10-15 degrees warmer and my bedroom the vent doesn’t blow out heat very good . I’m waiting and hoping that I get sicker as the weather gets colder and colder because best believe imma sue tf out of landmark. It doesn’t make sense I pay $1,040.00/ month and not have heat proplerly so wish me luck because I’ve been had a cold for over a week now."

"I lived at landmark for 3 years. And I have to say. It was the best experience I had with any apartments around Indy, HANDS DOWN. It is pricey. But you have all the added extra security with the gates, and the key fob doors. Which makes it worth it. Maintenance is so amazing and will get back to you very quickly with any problem you have. 10/10 living here!"

"Overall, my experience at Landmark has been great. I love the apartments, the grounds are kept up well. I cannot speak highly enough of the maintenance staff, they are absolutely phenomenal. I had a few issues recently with communication with the office. I believe this has been resolved."
