Reviews of Fisherman's Village
"I've lived here for 8 months. The ladies in the office ALWAYS are super nice and helpful. Daivesha and Melissa are the nicest people you will ever meet! Melissa is always on top of things! I couldn't ask for anything better!"
"Door knob put on but no lock building still not Secured at front lobby door. Police ran a young man in this building if door were able to shut and lock that wouldn’t had happened. Think God it wasn’t shooting going on, things like that can put residents in Jeopardy of getting hurt in building."
"Been here 2 going on 3 years now and plan on staying a while longer! Office staff ladies has been very pleasant. Theyre very kind They always hear me out on my problems and help me get things rectified quickly be it a maintenance request or even me having a forget me moment about rent! And they never get upset with me buggin them even if i call a million times a day with a million different questions. And As long as you communicate to them they will work with you on different things! I love the clubhouse and how we can book it out during office hours for events. I had my babyshower there for my daughter and we had plenty of space to do what we needed! The lake view is beautiful! The office ladies also always go all out for holidays. They decorate and do events and giveaways they almost always have a treat of some sort for us in the office holiday or not and i just love how they always include everyone! They also have been in the process of renovating the buildings and i think it looks great! The buildings were an older tan shade moving in and now theyre all a pretty darker blue they just redid the carpets in the hallways we had all new appliances when moving in besides the fridge but even that still works great! and im sure there is more to come!"
"Where should I start? When I first moved in this unit, my rent was about $864. Upon renewing my lease, it escalated to $982 (and that's without any additional fees). Keep in mind, this is a one-bedroom unit, not a two-bedroom apartment. The late fees are outrageous! So be prepared to fork over ALL your extra money. Plus the power bill & gas bill, etc. I feel like Fisherman's Village would charge their tenants for breathing oxygen if they could. Besides the ridiculous rent price, and the outdated appliances/fixtures, I suppose living here was okay. Dai'Vesha might be the only professional person on staff I've encountered (besides Dani who was a former employee). Dai'Vesha was helpful and patient with me, no matter how many questions I had or how many emails I sent. Now Tracy (Burton) on the other hand? Forget about it! She's rude as hell, won't reply to emails, got impatient when I had concerns, etc. The Maintenance Team was efficient & repaired things in my unit as was needed. One of the downsides of my unit was waiting for an entire year to get the windows replaced. The exterminator comes by upon request, too. Over all, I feel as though my rent shouldn't have been SO SUPER HIGH for a one-bedroom unit, especially since it was in an older, less developed, less modern part of the entire apartment complex. Reconsidering renewing my lease for next time because the rent is becoming unaffordable. The upside is having a fitness center, pool and lake views nearby. Unfortunately, the residents refuse to clean up after their pets, so be prepared to "step over" the mess the dogs leave behind. They need to change the nasty carpeting in the lobby/foyer of the building, add some chairs to the laundry room, just renovate the place; bring it into modernity! Update: My bathtub has been cracking/peeling for MONTHS & NO ONE has come by to repair it!! They installed new carpet in the hallways of the building, but neglect our actual (personal) units. Make it make sense."
"I finished my lease at the Fisherman Village apartments a couple months ago meaning to leave a review. Some of these reviews really do no justice. My experience has been nothing but professional, courteous and prompt with any questions or needs. I have great appreciation for the property manager, Brianna as well as her team. Since she came as a manager I noticed nothing but great things evolve. I was very aware of her hard work (she was actually visible and accessible) and very hands on work/interaction with the property and the community needs. Very professional and diplomatic in dealing with some tenants rude and sometimes very disrespectful demands. For such a young lady to be succeeding like she is, regional management must be proud. This place has been around for a long time so things are getting on the rough side, however, the maintenance team was always very responsive and happy to help replace or renovate anything needed. Thank you so much for such a great experience at Fisherman Village. Brianna was the main reason my stay was beyond amazing and more than I could have expected here."
