"It's with a sad and heavy heart I must highly recommend you don't go to Dr.Brubaker. Idk if he's too busy or he has a medical issue but I need to go to the ER over something he dismissed to my face. I am just appalled at his lack of caring. He signed an oath...... You can hear all his previous clients info the way he speaks loudly into a voice recorder. Hopeful you don't see someone you know in the lobby."
"We will never step foot in this clinic again. My wife has been a patient here for 10+ years and left the office incredibly upset today because βDr.β Brubaker is truly nothing more than a unprofessional and rude human. He would rather write a prescription instead of treating the actual problems. He does what is easier for him and nothing else. Absolute worst medical care in the state. This man represents the absolute worst the medical community has to offer. He will try to force his beliefs and opinions down his patients throats instead of listening to them. He is a five star bully and less than a one star doctor."
"Find a different clinic. The office ladies and nurses are sweethearts, but Dr. Brubaker is an unstable, angry man. I was being treated with antidepressants a few years ago and every time I would come in I would explain that I was feeling veeery tired and zoned out (too high of a dosage) and he continually raised the dose until my days became a blur. I couldn't remember driving to work, I couldn't get through the day without taking at least a 2 hour nap, I could hardly function at work, I was a zombie. I ended up dropping out of my college classes mid-semester because I had fallen so far behind in my zombie-like state. I received 4 F's for those classes since they were only halfway completed but was told by my advisor that if the doctor wrote a note explaining that I was undergoing treatments that could affect my mental state, they would expunge the F's, my GPA could go back to normal, and I could try again in the spring when my meds were figured out. When I tell you this man, Dr. Brubaker, was absolutely FURIOUS when I asked him for this note, I cannot begin to cover how unprofessional he was. I still don't understand it. My little sister was in the examination room with me thankfully and witnessed it all, but he angrily yelled at me (his face was bright red) saying that the medication didn't make me fail, I did that myself. He was so disrespectful and yelled that I was manipulating the system. I checked out and left crying, if I hadn't had my sister with me, my mental health state at the time may have been the end of me after that horrible experience. I would never suggest going here, ESPECIALLY NOT for mental health services."
"The staff are friendly and helpful. They always do their best to make you feel welcome. When I couldn't find a doctor in Peru, IN accepting new patients it was refreshing to find an office with all 3 of their doctors accepting new patients. Thank you FCMC for taking such good care of me and my family for the last few years!"
"This clinic is awful! I would not recommend anyone to go here! The front staff are extremely rude! All they do is sit there and talk amongst themselves and completely ignore you when you are trying to check in or check out! They talk to you like you are stupid and worthless! They even will shut the window on you if you are trying to talk to them because they don't want to talk to you! Everything is done on their time! It's supposed to be a WALK IN clinic and half the time they don't take walk ins because they only have one or two doctors on hand! Most of the time it's an hour or two wait before getting called back to see a doctor and then another 45 mins for the doctor to come in the room! And you better have a pocket full of money cause you are not leaving without paying something and usually is 45-60 dollars! So stupid and ridiculous! They will find a way to bill you even if your insurance is supposed to cover everything!"
